Introduction

I am a teacher and PhD student in Russian. I have a teaching degree and long experience of teaching Swedish, Russian and English on every level. My biggest merit in life, however, is that I am the mother of three Swedish-Russian bilingual girls – Victoria, Susie and Julia – and I have them to thank for discovering my main research interest: bilingual development.

Research interests

Language development and language learning, language contact, bilingualism, the Russian language in Sweden, linguistic socialisation in Russian-Swedish families, language attrition, language impairment.
